Progressive spring

A progressive spring is designed to adapt its operation depending on the pressure force. The name "progressive" indicates that the operating characteristic of this spring changes or "progresses" depending on the load acting on it. The key element that enables this type of operation is the varied coil pitch of the spring. In practice, this means that with a smaller load, for example, when the user is a child, the spring reacts more gently, engaging its initial coils. Thanks to this process, braking is smooth and safe even with smaller weights. When the pressure increases, for example, when the user is an adult, subsequent, harder spring coils come into play. This in turn allows the spring to adapt to a larger load, still ensuring effective and controlled braking. The key advantage of such a design is that it can be used in a very wide range.
